According to the African legends, the cowry shells represent  the goddess of protection which is highly powerful, and is connected with the strength and power of the Ocean.

Their  name derived from Kauri, a pre-Vedic Indian goddess; represents rebirth and the female Gate of Life. These shells  have a strong connection with femininity and  have been  used for centuries throughout the Middle East, Egypt, the South Pacific, and the Mediterranean  not only as  currency but at as a charm for healing, fertility, magical power, or good luck.

Small Shell available in Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil, Yellow or Rose 9ct Gold.

Large Shell available in Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil.
